Shirley was such special person and we were lucky enough to call her our friend. Conversations with her were always upbeat and delightful. She had a way of lifting you up and always a unique sense of humor. We will cherish our memory of her forever and are so thankful for her life and her legacy. Love to Kim, Jim and Tim during this very sad time. May our Lord be with you and give you His peace and comfort.

I worked with Shirley at GTE. She was always pleasant and professional in all she did. She was an integral part of the "telephone company family" when there was a telephone company before the breakup of the Bell System and deregulation began. All of her GTE friends will keep her in our thoughts and prayers.
